Moje zkušenost s Midjourney

V poslední době jste si možná všimli rostoucího zájmu o umění generované pomocí umělé inteligence. Alespoň já ano. Zní vám to jako sci-fi? Ne, pokrok je právě tady a teď. Myslíte si, že umění generované počítačem nemůže být dobré? Těžko byste mohli být dál od pravdy. Právě výsledky tohoto nástroje mě přesvědčily, abych ho také vyzkoušela. Výsledky jsou skutečně fascinující a některá umělecká díla jsou opravdu dobrá. Rozhodla jsem se otestovat, co se za tím skrývá a jak to funguje. Pokud si chcete Midjourney vyzkoušet, je právě nejvyšší čas, protože nyní se klub na Discordu blíží k 1 milionu a poté už nebude beta testerům umožněn přístup.

Pokud vám v hlavě utkvěla nějaká deep fake videa, pak by vás nemělo překvapit, že dnešní nástroje umělé inteligence jsou tak dobré, že s jejich pomocí lze vytvořit skutečně krásná díla. Přesto je to také trochu znervózňující a po prvním testu jsem měla chuť pověsit tužku a štětec na hřebík. Přesto, pokud vnímáte umělou inteligenci jako nástroj pro inspiraci, budete nadšeni. Nejprve tedy k tomu, co je Midjourney – je to vlastně výzkumná laboratoř, která zkoumá využití nových médií. Funguje to jednoduše, na Discordu se připojíte ke klubu Midjourney, do chatu zadáte /imagine a svá klíčová slova. Bot na jejich základě vygeneruje 4 obrázky. Můžete si nechat vytvořit různé varianty nebo je zvětšit. Tak jednoduché to je.

Ale jak to vlastně funguje? Zde je poměrně výmluvné video, kde Pratik Naik popisuje základní informace.

V zásadě však jde o to, že se Midjourney učí, jaká je esence/podstata jednotlivých vlastností. Nejde tedy jen o skládání jednotlivých fotografií ve 3 dimenzích, ale v podstatě zjištuje mnohem víc. Co je esence banánu, je to tvar? Barva? Pokud budu chtít banán modrý? Pak má banánovitost tedy mnoho dalších faktorů. Ať už jde o kulatost, hranatost, texturu, barvu, atd. Dokonce jsem požádala umělou inteligenci, aby mi vytvořila umění ve stylu Alfonse Muchy, Gustava Klimta, H. Gigera, obraz dámy v šatech od Diora při západu slunce ve stylu Stranger Things nebo vizuál ve stylu Duny či Blade Runnera 2048. Snažila jsem se také hledat esenci konkrétních lidí – mé oblíbené Sigourney Weaverové nebo toho, jak by měl vypadat Constantine 2. Někdy byly výsledky lepší, někdy horší, do značné míry záleží na zadání, které AI dáte. Samozřejmě konkrétními tváře jsou trochu na hraně. Jaká je tedy podstata Sigourney Weaver? Kvalita „vašeho umění“, které není ani vaše, ani vlastně umění, ale počítačový model, závisí na kvalitě vstupních dat, tj. klíčových slov, která zadáváte. Jak se vám líbí umění umělé inteligence? Docela mě to fascinuje. Musím přiznat, že někdy je až děsivě přesné. Ta síla je neuvěřitelná. Počítá se stovkami aspektů, které by mě samotnou ani nenapadly. Určitě se tento systém bude zlepšovat a vyvíjet. Z nějakého důvodu mi to připomíná film Náhradníci s Brucem Willisem. Nejsem jistá, kam až to může zajít. Je to ohromná síla, kterou držíme v rukou. Nebo tedy spíše umělá inteligence… Co si o tom myslíte vy? Vyzkoušíte to sami?
